The first Engage Gwinnett public meeting was well-attended by approximately 150 residents who expressed an interest in serving on the committee for the future of Gwinnett. The assembled group selected from among themselves 10 at-large citizen representatives who, as members of the Engage Gwinnett committee, will spend time over the next six months listening to lots of information about county government and demographic and economic trends, sharing ideas, and helping guide the Board of Commissioners actions' as they make decisions about service levels and funding sources for the next five years.
